 Using Multi/Sub-Object Materials in 3DS Max 6  By pixel2life

Rate It  | Review
Using Multi/Sub-Object Materials in 3DS Max 6 Multi/Sub-Object Materials are quite commonly used whilst modelling with polys, but alot of beginners to 3DS Max aren't aware of how to do this. I'm not sure about poly modelling with charachters, but whenever i model an interior in Max, i always use Multi/Sub-Object Material/s for the reason that it is quicker and more organised than having to detach every face and apply a material seperately.

Making Dreamweaver an FTP Client  By pixel2life

Rate It  | Review
This tutorial is an in-depth account of how to push your Dreamweaver to the edge of its performance. This time we will be setting up a connection to a remote server so that you can upload your webpage directly to the net without ever having to leave Dreamweaver. IMPORTANT: To complete this tutorial, I am assuming that you have read and understood my previous tutorial on setting up a local testing server using Dreamweaver or in some other way defined a Site using the Site->Manage Sites Command in Dreamweaver. Please note that without doing any of the above, this tutorial will be impossible to complete. The Tutorial: Ok so you have defined a site using this twodded tutorial, and you have been happily testing away on your local server. Now your site is completed and you would love to upload it to the web, but you don’t own an Ftp Client! What Now? This is where this tutorial will come in really handy.
