 Car Drawing Effect using Masking
Greetings to Everyone!
This is a tutorial as per request of Heaven . You will find some sites that have intros wherein before showing the actual object the frame of the object is drawn first. I replicated the effect and now I'm sharing how I did this. There are certain flaws as how this was done but all that mattered to me was how to replicate the effect so here it is:
[1] Prepare your image. I made the background transparent so we only have the object (in .png), which in this case is an image of a MG Project-X SV.
[2] Also make a copy of the wheels.
Okay, now that we're done with the image... let's animate...
[3] In swishmax, import the image of the car and the wheels.

I'm going to show you what you can do if you combine two great design programs like Photoshop and SwishMax.
The only thing you'll need actually in Photoshop is a metal texture.
Again, you'll learn how to simulate 3D rotation in Swish by applying a gradient over a dynamic texture, how to give
certain content areas a digital look by using "scanlines", also known as (interlanced graphics) and how to work with
lights that actually are liniar or radial gradient shapes with transparent edges, in Swish.

| My example is very simple and I think that it will be very usefull for you.
An example can be view send_color” is the decimal number for the color that will be changed. The funcyion will return “new_hex_color” that is the decimal number converted to hexadecimal.
I created a sprite “box” where I draw 2 shapes. Each new hexadecimal code will be applied as a rgb color for that sprite.
The sintax is colorObject.setRGB(0xRRGGBB); 0xRRGGBB; defines either the hexadecimal or Red/Green/Blue color to be set. RR, GG, and BB need to be two hexidecimal digits each. 0x tells the script that the number is hexidecimal.

| Hello all. This tutorial will teach how to create Psychedelics shapes in SwishMax in no time !!
1. Select The Autoshape tool, press for 2 seconds (don't release the mouse). Other shapes will pop up –-> select the Star shape.
2. Create a regular star with Shift pressed (In this way the Star will be perfect).
3. After you've created the star, it will be automatic selected. In The middle of it , You'll see 2 green dots -one actually in the middle and the 2nd one close to it (and a 3rd one in the outline of the star).
The one in the middle will add another vertex to the star - left mouse click, and Right click will remove one.
4. Click on the middle green dot 6 times (left mouse click).

| I decided to create this tutorial for those who don't have access to Photoshop or other imaging software who want that realistic plastic/glass effect. You can use this tutorial for anything. buttons, headers, banners ... play around with it.
Start with an empty movie, 50x50px is what I did.
Draw a square. for the sake of the tutorial I chose rounded rectangle
