1st Step: Creating The Sprites
a)Create a rectangle in the size you want your scroll box to be. – Important! – The text box MUST have a color fill to it. Any color will do. – Now create 2 shapes to be used as scroll buttons.
Right click the rectangle and choose ‘group’ from the menu. Then choose ‘group as sprite’ from the sub menu. Name the sprite ‘text_scroll’ and check the box named ‘masked’ in the sprite properties. Now go back to main scene and group both of your scroll shapes as sprites naming them ‘up_scroll’ and ‘down_scroll’ (Do not make these masked) – add an invisible rectangle to cover the scroll button shapes.

LOADING THE SAME WAY AS LOAD EXTERNAL SWF FILES IN SPRITE
Create new SWiSH file
Insert A Sprite (better to name it)
Go into Sprite's timeline
Add action as Load Movie
Give the name of .jpg file
Do not forget to set level to -1 (or select the Sprite radio button)
Export to the same place where jpeg is placed. Now test

This tutorial will quickly show you how to make a drop shadow for your text in swish 2.0.
1. Insert a new text with the word you would like.
2. Copy the text and then press ctrl+v on your keyboard to paste the text in the same place.(make the new text the bottom layer)
3. Press down and then right on your keyboard so the nes text is in a postition for the shadow, now change the color of the text to black(make the text the bottom layer)
4. Now paste the text again but this time press down twice and right twice, now change the color to a dark grey.(make the text the bottom layer)
5. Again paste the text but press down and right 3 times! and change the color to a mid-grey.(make the text the bottom layer
Now you should have a lovely drop shadow! it should look something like this
