The video walks you threw the advanced way of defining a site, if you wish to use the basic method you will find there isn't much difference. If you are very new to creating website then you will probably want to not use site technology or a testing server since that is intented for programers. When entering your server, site directory, username and password you will need to check with your web host, because these will obviously be unique to your website.
