Shatter Background
Create a dramatic shatter background that looks great as a desktop or header background.
Step 1.)
In this tutorial l will show you how to create a shatter background that looks great in signature/banner backgrounds. This is a very easy technique that is used all over the place on message boards these days.
1.) start a new document of any size, l'm using 500x500 and fill the background with black (#000000).
Step 2.)
Go to: Filter->Render->Difference Clouds.
Press CTRL + F on your keyboard 3 times to repeat the filter three times.
